Q. What is check-in and check-out time?

A. Check-in is at 3:00 pm and check-out is at 12:00 noon.

Q. Is it possible to check in late?

A. Please contact the hotel in advance if arriving after 10:00 p.m. on the day of your reservation.
Your reservation may be canceled if you do not arrive or contact the hotel by 12:00 a.m.
The east entrance (the Daimaru Umeda side) is closed between 1:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. If you arrive late, please use the west entrance (the carport side).

Q. Is the entrance open late at night?

A. The east entrance (to the left after descending the elevators) is closed between 1:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
The west entrance (to the right after descending the elevators) is a security door. Between 1:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., you can use it by employing your card key.

Q. Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out?

A. Yes, please feel free to ask at the cloak. Kindly be informed that we keep it during the period of your arrival to departure date.

Q. Is it possible to send my luggage to the hotel in advance of my stay?

A. Yes, you can send the luggage to the following address when your reservation is confirmed.
Please make sure to write your reservation name and check-in date on the shipping label.

Q. Can I deliver my luggage from the hotel to my next destionation?

A. Yes, please feel free to ask at the cloak during 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. (Domesic shipping only)

Q. Is a card key necessary to use the elevators?

A. Yes. We have introduced the elevators requring the card key to secure the safety of our guests.
As the elevators are equipped with sensors, please swipe your card key and press the button for your floor.

Q. May I take the card key with me when leaving the hotel?

A. All rooms are equipped with auto-lock, so be sure to take your card key with you when you leave the room.
The card key is required to use the elevators and to unlock the security door at the west entrance on the first floor. (The west entrance door is locked between 1:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.)

Q. Where is breakfast served?

A. For guests with breakfast vouchers, a Japanese and Western-style buffet breakfast is served on the 19th floor restaurant Fleuve.

Q. Can I place calls to other guest rooms and outside the hotel from my room phone?

A. Yes.
To place calls to other rooms, lift the receiver and press 2 + the four-digit room number.
There is no charge for inter-room calls.
To place calls outside the hotel, lift the receiver and press 0 + the phone number.
You will be billed for calls placed outside the hotel.

Q. Is it possible to have a early check-in or late check-out?

A. Yes, please contact us for the additional charge.

Q. How do I cancel a reservation I have already made?

A. You may cancel your reservation online using your Email, Confirmation Number or Password.
If you have problems with your reservation, please contact us.

Q. What is a cancellation policy?

A. The cancellation fee will be charged in accordance with the terms of service as follows.
1 day prior to the arrival 20%
Day of the ariival 80%
No show 100%

Q. Is there a waiting list if the hotel is fully booked?

A. Unfortunately, we do not have a waiting list. Please contact Room Reservations to check availability.

Q. What is available in the vending corner?

A. There are vending corners on each floor between the 21st and 27th floors, selling drinks.
At the 21st and 25th floors, the vending corners also sell ice cream, hot items, snacks for drinks and other snack items. (Items available vary from floor to floor)

Q. Are there ice machines?

A. There are ice machines on each floor between the 21st and 27th floors.
Please make free use of the cups beside the ice machines.

Q. Is there a business center?

A. No, the hotel has no business center. For that reason, output from removable disks is not possible.
We can refer you to facilities located near the hotel. Please ask a front desk clerk or bell staff.
We offer copy and FAX services at the front desk. (Charges apply)

Q. Do you have high-speed wired and/or wireless internet access available?

A. Yes, wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel and high-speed wired Internet access is available in all guest rooms.

Q. Do you allow smoking in your property?

A. Yes, Our hotel has several rooms that allow smoking. Also there are smoking spaces at 19th, 21st and 27th floor.

Q. Are the cribs available?

A. Please contact us first to check the availability due to the limited stock.
Kindly be adviced that we might not be able to provide in several room types because of the room size.

Q. Can children share beds? Does an additional charge apply?

A. One child may share a bed with one adult at no charge.
If you wish to share a bed your child, please inform us in advance. (A child is regarded as one at the age of 0 to 6 years old)

Q. Is it possible to request a bed fitted with bed rails?

A. No, we do not have any beds that are pre-fitted with bed rails nor do we lend any such equipment.

Q. What are convenient ways to get to the Kansai International or Itami airports?

A. We offer a convenient limousine service to both airports.
The boarding location for the limousine service is less than a five-minute walk from the hotel. Tickets may only be purchased on site, so we cannot reserve them for guests.

Q. Where is the nearest taxi stand?

A. Go out the hotel’s west entrance, turn right and head for JR Osaka Station’s Sakurabashi Ticket Gate.
Go past the Sakurabashi Ticket Gate and you’ll find the taxi stand across from Ekidonki (inside Eki Marché).

Q. Is there a convenience store near the hotel?

A. There is one in the adjoining Osaka Station complex, but it is not open 24 hours.
There are however convenience stores open 24 hours in the vicinity of the hotel. Please ask a front desk clerk or bell staff.
Also, although the selection is limited, there are vending corners with vending machines inside the hotel.

Q. Do you sell USJ Studio Passes?

A. USJ Studio Passes are available for purchase at the hotel’s front desk for our overnight guests.
We have one-day passes for adults and for children.
(We do not handle the Universal Express Pass or other special tickets.)
Purchases must be made in cash.

Q. Is there a shuttle service to USJ?

A. No.
However, there are regularly operating, direct trains to USJ from JR Osaka Station.
It is approximately 11 minutes from the hotel to Universal-city Station (the station closest to USJ) by train.
We have a timetable, so please ask a front desk clerk or bell staff.

Q. Is the hotel equipped with a large communal bath?

A. No.
However, there are bathrooms in the guest rooms.

Q. What types of rooms are available in the hotel?

A. The hotel has standard floors and an executive (Granvia) floor.

Transportation/Directions

Q. How do I get to the hotel?

A. To access our hotel from Kansai international airport, you can use the JR train or the airport limousine bus.

By JR train

There is direct train available bound for JR Osaka station from the airport.
Our hotel is located in the South Gate Building of JR Osaka station.
The nearest gate is the central gate, and from this gate it’s just a few minutes’ walk.

Fare: 1,190 yen/one way
Time: approximately 1 hour/Rapid service train bound for Osaka

By airport limousine bus

We are afraid that this bus is NOT free and NOT bound directly for our hotel.
Please get off at the Herbis Osaka bus stop, which is the nearest stop to our hotel.
From this bus stop, it’s approximately 5 minutes on foot.

Fare: 1,550 yen/one way
Time: approximately 1 hour/Airport – bus stop Herbis Osaka
* You do not have to reserve a seat in advance.
There is a ticket machine at the bus stop where you can get tickets.
